Bills Keon Coleman stands on business after Terry Pegulas comment

Since ownerTerry Pegula made his comments (January) about wide receiver Keon Coleman, Coleman has been silent.Pegula said his general manager, Brandon Beane, was "pushed" to take the 23-year-old in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft when they didn't want him. Making his first appearance since Pegula's comments, Coleman wasn't shy in his response to his bo s's words. In a media appearance during the Bills' OTAs, Coleman made it clear that this upcoming season is "make or break" for him. The 2026 season with the Buffalo Bills will be "make or Andrew Shaw Jersey break" for Keon Coleman "For me, it's make or break," Coleman told after Buffalo's Tuesday OTA se sion. "If you s---, you might not be here, simple as that. I know what I'm capable of. So, if I fall anything short of that, I'm doing myself a di service and my team." MORE: Coleman had another mediocre season in his second season with the Bills, having 404 receiving yards (on 38 receptions and 10.6 yards per) and catching four touchdowns in 13 games. This is a drop from last season, when Coleman caught 556 yards (29 receptions and 19.6 yards per) and four touchdowns in the same number of games. Coleman will have a new head coach; former offensive coordinator Joe Brady was promoted to the position after former head coach Sean McDermott was fired following the Bills' postseason overtime lo s to the (33-30). However, Coleman could have the same level of production this upcoming season, with the offensive scheme not changing that much under Brady. Looking to prove his worth, Coleman will need to adjust to Brady's scheme to put up numbers this season to justify sticking around. In his third season with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Josh Allen, he has an advantage over other wide receivers who don't have the same level of quarterback play.
